![]() One easy way for all users to set portable mode probably would be to let them create a "portable.txt" file in the root folder of yuzu.exe, and then Yuzu should do the magic to recognize the installation as a portable mode. Just let the end user the chance to decide the default behavior of the software in this meaning. Please take into account that a vast of users will need emulators to be portable, not to save settings in the user roaming folder like Yuzu does :( I cannot think of a good, modern and active emulator that is not portable itself or that does not provide the user a functionality to make it portable, like PCSX2, RPCS3, Dolphin, Cemu, Citra, Cxbx-R and recently Xemu ( Xemu's devs said they will implement it soon in a next release) just to mention some of them. Please consider to implement portable mode, that is the config, dump, load, and nand and the other directories and any other files must be read/written from root directory of yuzu.exe. yuzu only emulates a subset of Switch hardware and therefore most commercial games do not run at full speed or are not fully functional. It is written in C++ with portability in mind, with builds actively maintained for Windows and Linux. ![]() Animal Crossing New Horizons can also be played on PC via the Ryujinx Emulator. This is a (basic and must-have) feature request that I do supposing that Yuzu still not implemented it (otherwise please let me know): yuzu is an experimental open-source emulator for the Nintendo Switch from the creators of Citra. Those interested can support the yuzu project by becoming a patron here. We’re working actively on fixing these issues, so expect improvements in the coming days in yuzu Early Access and mainline builds soon thereafter!” “Expect there to be minor bugs – but hopefully these do not hinder gameplay too much. “We hope you enjoy playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons in yuzu, and please let us know how it works for you”, the yuzu team writes. We also highly recommend that you use the OpenGL renderer at this time. This can be changed by going to Emulation → Configure → Audio, and unchecking "Enable real-time audio".
